A Little Gift Box for Mother or Someone Special

A Pretty Little Gift Box

Here is a pretty little box to give to mom or someone special. It can be filled with chocolate or another little treat...enough to fulfill a sweet tooth but not enough to make her fat :)

Dimensions:  length  - 2 3/4 inches,  width - 2 inches, height - 4 inches

I glued the box together and added a 12 inch ribbon threaded through the top slit.

Here is the PDF.  I used cardstock.

A Sliceform Egg - Math, Art and Engineering Intersecting at its Best

Egg Sliceform

While you might think that this is just a smaller version of the Easter Egg Snow Globe from a previous post, it is not.  I could not reduce the size of the egg snow globe because everything including the slits would be reduced. Thus making the slits impossible to use. I created this egg sliceform with two shapes joined together - a circle and a parabola.

Here is the PDF.

Here is the .Studio file.  I used a good quality cardstock because the slits are small and require a paper that will cut precisely.

I love how the egg lies flat and the slices intersect.

Hippity Hop...The Easter Bunny is Coming Your Way on a Carousel

Hippity Hop, make way for the Easter bunny!  He is coming your way on a carousel. He really spins in circles because this carousel has an axle built inside. It's a perfect design for Easter.  You can fill the box with jellybeans and give it as a present.

An Easter Snow Globe Sliceform

Easter and snow should not be mentioned in the same sentence.  However, this year our weather has been really crazy and we have been experiencing unseasonable weather.  I just put away my snow boots and hopefully, I will not have to retrieve them again until next winter.

I made an egg shaped snow globe with an Easter egg hunt scene.  I made the children to look like my son and daughter wearing their favorite clothes when they were little. Look at the PDF below to see what the scenery looks like...it is hard to get a good photo of the inside of the egg.

Of course, Marley loves the Easter egg snow globe.

The sliceform egg looks fantastic on its own if you would don't want the Easter egg hunt scenery.

The directions to make this sliceform are in a previous post.

The Easter egg base is different then the previous version.  You can use either base, if you would like, they are sized the same.

Happy Easter!
